Noblesville swimming sweeps its own invitational

The Noblesville swim team hosted its annual invitational on Saturday. The Millers won both the girls and boys divisions.
Noblesville’s girls took 10 of the 11 events on their way to scoring 519 points. Caitlin Marshall (200 freestyle and butterfly), Sammy Huff (individual medley and breaststroke) and Abby Harvey (50 and 100 freestyles) were all double individual winners. Sophie Resner placed first in the backstroke. Noblesville swept all three relays as well: Jordan Cooley, Huff, Marshall and Harvey were first in the medley relay; Resner, Gillian Cripe, Claire Yeakey and Harvey won the 200 free relay; and Marshall, Resner, Cripe and Huff won the 400 free relay.
The Millers boys team scored 423 points to win the team trophy and also took four individual events. Jack Wolfred won the 50 free in a new meet record of 21.42 seconds. Cameron Kramer won the 500 free. Noblesville won both the freestyle relay: Wolfred, Kramer, Isaac Stephan and Evan Diamente were first in the 200 free relay and Kramer, Will Huff, Nick Beeson and Wolfred won the 400 free relay.
