University stayed perfect on the season Thursday, beating Anderson Prep 78-16 in an away game that was their first Pioneer Conference contest of the year.
The Trailblazers led 39-4 at halftime. Lindsey Syrek scored 17 points, with Jenna Blakley adding 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Brooke Andrus scored 11 points, with Haley Tomlinson contributing nine. Twelve different University players scored.
The ‘Blazers will be back in action tonight for another conference game. University will take on Seton Catholic in a girls-boys doubleheader at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The girls game tips off at 6 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
