Westfield dropped its first game of the season on Tuesday, falling at Pendleton Heights 57-47.
The Shamrocks led 12-10 after the first quarter, but the Arabians were up at halftime, 19-18. Late free throw shooting helped Pendleton to extend its lead in the fourth quarter.
Zach Banks scored 16 points for Westfield, with Caleb Welch adding 11, including three 3-pointers. Zach Bryer blocked two shots. Benji Welch, Eli Patchett and Bryer all had two rebounds.
The ‘Rocks are 1-1 and play at Zionsville on Friday in their Hoosier Crossroads Conference opener.
