Millers fall to Avon, host Southeastern on Wednesday

Noblesville dropped a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game to Avon 67-53 on Saturday at The Mill.
The Orioles outscored the Millers in each quarter, leading 16-11 after the first period and 32-25 at halftime. Three Noblesville players reached double figures, with Maddie Knight scoring 17 points and also collecting four rebounds.
Sarah Etchison added 12 points, including three 3-pointers, and Mallory Johnson contributed 10 points. Abby Haley had four assists.
The Millers are 0-2 in the conference and 3-5 overall. They host Hamilton Southeastern on Wednesday to continue HCC play.
