Noblesville Schools is hosting a district unified track and field event at Hare Chevrolet Field (300 N 17th St, Noblesville) from 9AM-2PM on May 12th.
This event is in collaboration with Special Olympics of Indiana and will highlight track and field events where K-12 students with and without disabilities will be competing together.
The objectives of the event are to raise awareness about the abilities of children with disabilities through inclusive peer participation in sports, as well as engage children with intellectual disabilities through developmentally appropriate play activities designed to foster physical, cognitive and social development.
