Members of the Hamilton Heights High School Chapter of the Key Club helped transformed the high school into a spook-tacular community event. While the Key Club spearheaded the event, other student clubs collaborated to make this a fang-tastic event enjoyed by all ghouls and goblins.
Students in costumes with parents in tow, enjoyed the Halloween-themed creativity, chills, thrills, colors, lights and decorations at 12 different classrooms and throughout the hallways.
Key Club Sponsor Felicia Tindal said the event provides a nice, safe place for kids to trick-or-treat, enjoy games, crafts, a few scares and activities as well as interact with older kids.
“It was fun to see so many families and their children enjoying it,” said Tindal. “Everyone [from the high school students to the children who attended] had a wickedly good time. Bonus! Didn’t have to worry about frightful weather! We plan to host this event the Saturday before Halloween again next year.”
