The new Riverview Health Westfield Hospital opened on Tuesday. The six-story, 108,000 square-foot building is located at the northeast corner of State Road 32 and U.S. 31.

“It’s not just a beautiful building – this new hospital was built with the community in mind, so we’re thrilled to officially be providing advanced healthcare services to the people of Westfield and beyond,” said Seth Warren, president and CEO of Riverview Health. “It has taken the hard work and diligent planning of many team members to make this project a reality, so it’s incredibly rewarding to see our doors open and staff members serving patients.”
The first two floors are open in this initial phase, which include laboratory services, employer clinic, pharmacy, imaging, WorkMed, surgery services and an inpatient unit. In addition, Riverview Health Westfield Hospital is proud to offer the area’s first full-service, 24-hour emergency room combined with the most available urgent care hours in Hamilton County: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Patients who are unsure if they need urgent care or emergency services will now have one convenient access point where they will be guided to the level of care required and billed accordingly.
Over the next few months, Riverview Health plans to open the other floors of the hospital including a larger inpatient unit. Patients will also have access to Riverview Health Physicians Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, including a walk-in orthopedic clinic, outpatient rehabilitation services, Riverview Health Physicians primary care providers and other specialties.
