The Carmel doubles team of seniors Timmy Dixon and Garrett Lloyd advanced to the semi-finals of the IHSAA state doubles tournament Friday at Park Tudor.
Dixon and Lloyd beat the Brownsburg team of seniors Adam Prichard and Gunnar Reffeitt 6-3, 6-1. The Greyhounds team will play Munster seniors Zach Schmidt and Frank Wolf in a semi-final match at 10 a.m. today, also at Park Tudor.
In the singles tournament, Carmel junior Presley Thienemann will play Evansville Mater Dei senior Aaron Thompson in a semi-final match, also at 10 a.m. Thienemann received a bye into the semi-finals.
The championship match in both singles and doubles will take place at 2 p.m.
