The Sheridan Coalition and the Sheridan Town Council are planning to place a sign at the town limits along State Road 38 on the east edge of town and State Road 47 on the west edge of town. This structure will welcome travelers into the Sheridan community.
The Coalition committee is asking community members to help raise funds by committing to purchase engraved bricks to be used in the construction. An individual or family brick will cost $125 or a corporate brick will cost $250.
At this time the committee is only asking for verbal commitments. Payments and specific brick wording will be requested once 356 commitments for bricks has been received. Each sign will cost approximately $30,000 to construct, and the town has already received donations towards this project.
