Milton “Pat” Leonard Kilpatrick

December 11, 1943 – September 21, 2018

Milton “Pat” Leonard Kilpatrick, 74, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018, at his home in Noblesville. Born in Bainbridge, Ga., on December 11, 1943, to Henry and Mary (Medley) Kilpatrick, Pat grew up in North Florida and South Georgia before proudly serving in the U.S. Army as a tank driver meeting and later marrying the love of his life while deployed in Germany.

Pat loved life and embraced it fully. He actively tended his flower gardens, loved cars of all shapes and sizes and never met a stranger. He relished helping others serving as President of his Lions Club chapter in Florida several times and later becoming a member of the American Legion in Canton, Ohio. Even when illness started to slow down his endeavors, Pat still found a way to embrace others in his own special way delivering hundreds of gallons of his own homemade blend of sweet Southern Iced Tea to the myriad of neighbors, doctors and nurses who filled his life.

Pat is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katheryn (Fitzgerald) Kilpatrick; sons, Michael (Renee) Kilpatrick and Jay (Jennifer) Kessinger; brothers, John, Winston and Ellis Kilpatrick; sister-in-law, Frances Fitzgerald; and grandchildren, Leighlan and Paige Kilpatrick.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Reverend Byron Fritz officiating. Military Rites to follow. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Health Foundation, P.O. Box 220, Noblesville, IN 46061.
