Adjacent to Boxley Cabin, the Sheridan Historical Society stirred the pot to serve a bowl of ham and beans, cornbread and fried potatoes on Saturday, Sept. 15. The first-time event sets the stage for other events on Pioneer Hill. Sheridan Crossroads Youth assisted in helping serve sodas and desserts. Thanks to Regan (above) and Phil Kercheval who prepared the “vittles” and to Laura Stapleton-Robbins who worked with Ron Stone to coordinate the event.
