The Hamilton Heights girls soccer team won a wet soccer game at Kokomo 4-1 on Thursday.
The Huskies scored within the first five minutes, with Emma Hall finding the back of the net of an assist by Makena Trew. Kyndall Ferguson also scored in the first half, and Elaina Page put in a rebound goal with 1.9 seconds left in the half.
The Huskies played what coach Travis Kauffman called ” much more controlled, intentional game” in the second half, with Page scoring another goal.
“The Heights defense played a solid game throughout with Jayla Logan anchoring their effort,” said Kauffman.
The Huskies are 7-2 for the season. Meanwhile, Heights’ junior varsity won 2-0, staying undefeated for the season.
