The Sheridan Fun Loving Kiwanis Club is gearing up for their annual pancake breakfast. This year’s breakfast will take place on Saturday morning, May 6 from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
The event will be held in the Community Room of the Sheridan Public Library, 103 West First Street in beautiful uptown Sheridan. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 for 11 and under. The menu will include pancakes and sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, and coffee, milk and juice to drink.
Sheridan Kiwanis has been around for years and does many great things for the community. Kiwanis is primarily concerned about issues facing children.
Much of the money raised by the annual pancake breakfast meal will be used to support the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis and other programs offered to our local children like the library’s summer reading program.
Kiwanis also funds a scholarship for a graduating senior in our local high school, provides support at the elementary school for the K-Kids and at the intermediate school for the Builders Club.
