Local author to be part of September Noblesville events

Do you need more joy in your workplace? Then visit the Nickel Plate Arts First Friday event on Sept. 7 or the Noblesville Preservation Alliance Tour of Historic Homes on Sept. 15. Local author Amy Thornton Shankland will be selling and signing copies of her non-fiction book, Joy to You and Me (At Work!) from Tell-Tale Publishing during both events.

Joy to You and Me (At Work!) can help anyone learn how to be a more joyful person and spread that joy to co-workers, customers and when networking with others.

“Being joyful at work isn’t just a nice thing to do each day,” said Shankland, “It actually increases productivity and is good for any company or organization.”

Shankland will be at Nickel Plate Arts, 107 S. 8th St., Noblesville, from 6 to 9 p.m. during their First Friday event Sept. 7. She will be at the Bocko home during the Tour of Historic Homes from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.

Visit nickelplatearts.org or noblesvillepreservation.com for more info on these events.
