“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve such a great city,” Murray said. “Noblesville is a special place and has tremendous economic development possibilities. I look forward to working in partnership with city leadership, and in cooperation with its strong business community to promote success in conjunction with the city’s economic development goals.”

Murray has 10 years of public and private sector economic development experience prior to coming to Noblesville. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University. Following graduation, Murray worked for the City of Westfield providing public service on a wide array of economic development, redevelopment and public finance-related matters. Most recently, Murray worked for the law firm Krieg DeVault LLP, where he was a core member of their municipal and public finance practice group.

“Andrew’s experience and well-rounded skill set add additional depth and expertise to our staff as we work diligently to identify, develop and implement projects that will create, retain and reinvest wealth throughout Noblesville’s economy and community,” said Judi Johnson, economic development director. “Andrew will manage the department’s ‘Stay Here|Grow Here’ business retention and expansion program. He will be a leader in business development efforts and also will provide the department with a specific focus on financial strategy, analysis, process and impacts from an economic developer’s perspective.”

Murray is a 2012 graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy and a 2015 graduate of the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute.
