GriefShare starting soon in Noblesville

Have you experienced the loss of a loved one and feel lost in the fog of grief? Grief is an unwelcome visitor into our lives and it’s often overwhelming. After the funeral, when cards and flowers have stopped coming, most people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone.

If you have suffered the loss of a loved one, GriefShare is a special seminar and support group to assist you in your journey through grief. This group is led by people that have experienced and understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include, “The Journey of Grief,” “The Effects of Grief,” “Your Family and Grief,” “Why?” and “Stuck in Grief.”

GriefShare is a 14-week Christian non-denominational program that includes a workbook, video and discussion time each week. It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument St., Noblesville. Please enter through Door 1.

You are invited to join anytime during the sessions and experience the support of others who are traveling their grief journey and understand what you are experiencing, each day, each moment.
