Guerin Catholic finished second out of 18 teams at the rain-soaked Lafayette Jefferson Invitational Tuesday at Battle Ground Golf Course.
The Golden Eagles carded a score of 314, behind top-ranked Zionsville’s 304. Guerin Catholic’s Angelica Pfefferkorn finished second individually, shooting an even-par 72.
Mckayla Tallman tied for sixth with a 79, while Christina Pfefferkorn took ninth by carding 81. Sophie McGinnis shot 82 and Audrey Kunce scored 115, playing in her first high school varsity event.
