The Noblesville Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 4416 have announced their endorsement for Chris Jensen, Noblesville mayoral candidate.
Shortly after Jensen announced his run for mayor, IAFF Local 4416 met with Jensen and voted to support his candidacy.
Below is a statement from the IAFF Local 4416, president, Tony Murray:
“As fire fighters, experience and coordination is essential to maximizing success during any emergency. Every day we depend on our fire fighters and paramedics to make split second, life-sensitive decisions. Similarly, we depend on our elected leaders to prioritize citizen safety. Chris Jensen has the leadership, skills and vision to preserve our community’s dedication to safety. When the alarm calls we need to know our elected officials have put us in the best position to respond with maximum efficacy.
“As a dedicated servant leader in our community, working closely with our public safety leadership as a member of the Common Council, Chris has demonstrated his dedication to Noblesville not in words but through action to create a safer Noblesville. We support his focused vision for the future of Noblesville. When Chris declared his candidacy for Mayor, we immediately knew Noblesville would be in excellent hands. That is why we offered our unprecedented early endorsement of his candidacy.”
Jensen is a lifelong Noblesville resident and is the current Noblesville Common Council President. He serves on the board of the Noblesville High School Alumni Association and Nickel Plate Arts. Jensen and his wife, Julie, are volunteers and members at Grace Church in Noblesville. They are both Butler University graduates and are parents to CJ, Vivian and Hank.
