Matt Molter announces run for HSE school board

Greetings friends, family, neighbors and community members,

I have some exciting news to share with you. Fourteen years ago, I moved to Fishers, completely unaware of how this vibrant community would influence me. What started as a career as a police officer with a few entrepreneurial ideas has transitioned to so much more.

Now, I live here with my wife and three children and am running two growing business out of Launch Fishers, Agency360 and DogTeamPro. We’ve met so many wonderful people through Church (SLDM), neighbors (SunBlest), club soccer and volunteering (FHS Ultimate Frisbee).

This amazing community that we live in has inspired me to give back. It is with this in mind that I am thrilled to announce that I am running for the District 2 seat on the Hamilton Southeastern School Board this November.

There are three attributes that uniquely qualify me to serve as your school board representative:

  • Former Police Officer: Keeping your children safe is a top priority, and having served as a police officer for 11 years helps me fully understand the challenges and potential solutions for keeping our students and staff safe.
  • Innovator: Starting my own small businesses has taught me invaluable lessons on how to do a lot with very little. This knowledge can be applied to our school district so that you aren’t continually asked to approve referendums in the future. Bold thinking that focuses on maximizing our many resources, decreasing spending and increasing achievement.
  • Parent: As the father of three young boys, and the husband of a teacher, I can relate to the challenges of raising and educating children today. I will work to make life managing kids in school easier for parents and also help empower great teachers to use their incredible skills to reach every child.

Although my family and I are nervous to dip our toes into the political world, we are absolutely prepared to work for this community and put in the extra time, energy and effort to help lead this school district into the 21st Century. I’d like to ask for you to vote Matt Molter for HSE School Board on Nov. 6!
