Cicero Police say, from time to time, they get complaints about solicitors going door to door. Solicitors are required to register with the Clerk’s office and wear a town-issued badge.
Police recommend a good practice is to never let anyone in your home or give out personal information. Officers suggest you do your homework and find out who these people are.
If you don’t want solicitors knocking on your door, “No Soliciting” stickers are available at the police department or at the Cicero Clerk’s office.
