The Noblesville Schools board of trustees on Friday announced the appointment of Monica Peck to fill a vacancy created by the recent resignation of Donna Clark, who relocated out of state. The board considered all applications it received and publicly interviewed three final candidates before selecting Peck.
Peck is the former co-owner of Hare Chevrolet and has been previously recognized as an Indiana Business Journal “40 under 40” honoree, as well as a Noblesville Chamber “Business Person of the Year.”
“I’ve been a life-long advocate for Noblesville Schools as a student, athlete, parent, business partner, Miller Ambassador and community member,” said Peck. “I’m excited about the opportunity to serve as part of the school board team and believe my experience and background will provide a good basis for supporting the vision and mission of Noblesville Schools.”
A graduate of Noblesville High School and Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Peck has been involved in volunteer and leadership roles with numerous community organizations, including Noblesville Schools, Noblesville Parks Foundation, Noblesville Boys and Girls Club, Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Prevail, Riverview, Noblesville United Soccer and more.
Peck and her husband Darren have two children currently enrolled in Noblesville Schools.
Peck was sworn in at the July 13 school board special session and will serve out the remaining portion of Clark’s four-year term.
