‘Ride, Dine & Dance’ hits Carmel’s streets tonight

Are you looking for a way to spend your Saturday? Hopping on your bike in Carmel is one of the easiest things you can do.

You’ll want to find a sitter when you join others this evening for Ride, Dine and Dance. This year, Bike Carmel is partnering with the Carmel Arts & Design District’s “Late Night on Main” street party. The fun begins with registration on Main Street at 5 p.m., not far from where a live band will be playing in the street later that night.

Due to the number of participants, this will be a “slow roll” style with Carmel Police officer escorts for the duration of the ride. The 8.5-mile route will roll out at 6:30 p.m. from the PNC Bank parking lot, which will give you plenty of time to get back to Main Street to enjoy dinner then dance the night away. The live music at Range Line Road and Main Street starts at 9 p.m. Restaurants, galleries and local businesses will be burning the midnight oil, staying open late for you.

Please note the route in the map above. If you are in the area, please slow down and be patient. Carmel city ordinance states that drivers should pass at least three feet away from cyclists when it is safe.
