Noblesville Chamber of Commerce June Luncheon features non-profits

The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. Featuring area non-profits, this luncheon will take place at Mustard Seed Gardens, 77 Metsker Lane, Noblesville.

Tom Kilian, Jr., President of the Legacy Fund, the community foundation serving Hamilton County, will deliver a keynote speech. The cost is $26 per person for the general public and $20 per person for Noblesville Chamber of Commerce members. All are invited to register online at noblesvillechamber.com by Friday, June 22.

The luncheon will showcase six local non-profits that support and sustain Noblesville by addressing the needs of the community. Each non-profit will have a table where representatives will share information about their non-profit, its mission, and ways community members can become involved in their cause.

One of these non-profits is the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation, which will be accepting donations for the Noblesville West Middle School Fund, an effort established in the wake of the May 25 shooting to support the victims and their needs.

This event will also feature the Hamilton County Leadership Academy, Noblesville Main Street, the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County, the Humane Society of Hamilton County and the Legacy Fund.

Featured speaker Tom Kilian, Jr. of Legacy Fund has a diverse background in both profit and not-for-profit organizations, and almost 18 years of experience in philanthropy and fundraising. Tom’s career has largely focused on higher education, in which he spent the last 10 years leading the development and execution of several philanthropic campaigns across various campus landscapes. He joined the Legacy Fund in 2017 as president. In this role, Tom Kilian, Jr. leads the Legacy Fund’s mission of promoting philanthropy in Hamilton County. Legacy Fund is a $68 million public foundation that serves Hamilton County by administering charitable funds, foundations and organizational endowments for individuals, families and not-for-profit entities.
