Patrick “Pat Pat” Summa, 57, passed away on May 31, 2018 in Noblesville with his beautiful wife by his side. He was a die-hard Yankees Fan and a dedicated worker, always giving 110%. He grew up raising hell in Waterbury, Conn., with his four siblings. He was the life of the party and generous to a fault. He was the “Dad” to all the neighborhood kids and could make a friend out of anyone. He loved all his friends from Waterbury and Noblesville and was always the guy to sit down and have a beer with.
He is survived by his loving wife Melody (Flahive) Summa; his children, Patrick Summa, Kathleen (Summa) Rabtoy (husband Michael), Jamie Layden, Jonathan Summa, James Summa, John (JayJay) Flahive (wife Tammy) and Justin Simmons; his sister, Teresa Cote (husband Dale); his brother, Paul Summa (wife Norma); his wonderful nieces and nephews; and his eight beautiful grandchildren, including his Best Friend and Main Man, Christian Layden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Summa, Sr. and Rita (Johnson) Summa; and his brothers, Daniel Summa, Jr. and Rocco Summa.
Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 at Chase Parkway Memorial in Waterbury, Conn., with a memorial service to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held at Outside Inn in Waterbury starting at 3 p.m.
