Hamilton County Theatre Guild proudly presents, “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” a drama running now through June 17 at The Belfry Theatre in Noblesville.

“Brighton Beach Memoirs” is a wonderful, semi-autobiographical comedy with heart, wit and hysterical insights into family life and growing up – just a little off-center.

Fifteen-year-old Eugene Jerome is desperately trying to uncover life’s mysteries, but his family keeps hiding the clues. Even so, he manages to keep his priorities – baseball and girls – firmly in order throughout Neil Simon’s hilarious play about growing up in Brooklyn during the late 1930s.

Life is definitely never dull with seven people living under the same roof. Dad works two jobs to make ends meet, older brother Stanley is eager to dispense sage advice, and Aunt Blanche tries to cope as a single parent.

This production is rated PG-13 for mature audiences and may not be suitable for younger audiences, due to mature language and subjects.

Directed by James H. Williams of Fishers, the dramatic comedy is by Neil Simon and presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.  Assistant director is Fran Knapp.

The drama runs through June 17, with eight shows, including matinees on the second and third Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for ages 12 and younger.

For reservations, call (317) 773-1085 and pay at the door, or conveniently pay online at thebelfrytheatre.com. The Belfry Theatre is at 10690 Greenfield Ave., Noblesville.
