Last fall, the Noblesville Kiwanis Club was asked to donate to a Ghana School project, being led by two high school students, Luke Reks and Luke Johnson. Because Kiwanis is an organization that promotes support to children around the world, the club donated to the project.
Since then the two students have been to Ghana to help get the project off and running. The school is currently under construction. The students have formed a non-profit organization called The ChangED Project for future endeavors.
This experience gained by the high school students is much, not only in time and giving, and also in learning business development and international relationship building. Many thanks also goes to Alaina Shonkwiler, Noblesville High School, for her mentoring of these two students on the project.
