Janus recently hosted its 10th annual Create, Connect and Commit Fundraising Breakfast. This year’s event was the largest, most successful event to date with nearly 500 people in attendance.
A total of $106,457.39 was raised and donations continue to be received.
The inspirational, heartwarming event featured parents and business owners who discussed the life changing programs and services provided to Janus clients. Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks spoke about the challenges of those with disabilities in today’s world.
One of the highlights of the breakfast was viewing the new Janus video created by Philip Paluso of Medium Cool Pictures. Not only did guests meet Austin Philips in the video, but Austin attended the breakfast with his parents and brought $775 in donations he had personally collected prior to the event.
The Janus choir had attendees singing and keeping time to the music when the 10-member group sang the popular song, “Lean On Me.” The choir received a standing ovation at the end of their performance.
Janus would like to thank everyone who made their breakfast successful – donors, clients, staff and friends.
If you were not able to attend and would like to be a part of this successful team, please go to janus-inc.org to make a secure online donation.
