Golf: Tigers, Millers win Tuesday dual meets

Fishers beat Heritage Christian 161-163 Tuesday at Riverside Golf Course.
Shivom Patel was the medalist with a 37. Bryce Robertson and Noah Chamberlin each shot 41 and Nick Fisher shot a 42.

Noblesville edged out Guerin Catholic 151-152 Tuesday at Pebble Brooke Golf Course.
Millers junior Clay Merchent was medalist with a one under par 35. Seniors Jack Barnes and Kyle Claussen were next with 38. Junior Joe Whallon had a 40 and fellow juniors Jacob Deakyne a 41 and Chris Scheib 44.
On Monday, Guerin Catholic won a three-team meet, shooting 154 to Tipton’s 171 and Park Tudor’s 197.
The Golden Eagles’ Ben Burgan was a co-medalist with a score of 37. Other Guerin Catholic scores were Andrew White 38, Keaton Modleski 39, Noah Chelovitz 40, Ty Gingerich 41, Christian Hein 41, Jack Reitz 43 and Bryce Smerek 44.

Westfield finished second in a three-team varsity match at Prairie View Golf Club on Monday.
The Shamrocks scored 315; Carmel was first with a 309, while Cathedral was third with 321. Westfield’s Andrew Lewis was the meet medalist with a score of 68.

Westfield’s junior varsity team won a three-way match with Zionsville and North Central on Monday.
The Shamrocks scored 162 to Zionsville’s 173 and North Central’s 228.
Westfield was led by Brent Hester and Colin Nixon with scores of 40. Freshmen Ryan Wilkes and sophomore Spencer Howe chipped in 41s to help the ‘Rocks to victory.

Carmel dropped a Tuesday dual meet with Brebeuf Jesuit 149-153 Tuesday at Golf Club of Indiana.
Senior JD Dulin was a co-medalist with a one-under par 35. Jack Crawford and Nick Katsis both had 39s and Andrew Harvey and Luke Prall both shot 40s.
