Track and field: Huskies sweep, Noblesville boys win 3-team meet

Hamilton Heights swept a dual meet with Lapel on Tuesday.
The Huskies girls won 99-23, taking 13 of the 16 events. Bailey Haworth (100 and 300 hurdles), Markaela Pugh (100 and 200 dashes) and Tiffany Williams (400 dash and high jump) were all double individual winners.
Heights won the boys meet 76-54. Cole Portwood led a 1-2-3 sweep in the long jump, with Dylan Bannon doing the same in the shot put.

The Millers won the meet with 95.5 points, followed by the Royals’ 39 and the Marauders’ 32.5. Noblesville won nine events, including 1-2 finishes in all the distance events and the long jump. The Royals took all three sprinting events.
