The Carmel track and field teams swept the Metropolitan Conference meets Friday night.
The girls team got past Warren Central, 111.5-104.5, for the team title. The Greyhounds won four events, including a sweep of the 1600 and 3200 runs for Phoebe Bates.
Bates also ran on the first-place 4×800 relay, with Sydney Haines, Anna Morozov and Annie Christie. Kara Deady won the pole vault.
Carmel’s boys scored 125 points to win the championship, well ahead of runner-up North Central’s 92. Isaiah Baxter won the Greyhounds’ lone event, the 200 dash.
