The Westfield track and field team competed in the Zionsville Invitational on Friday.
The Shamrock boys placed third by scoring 77 points. Westfield finished third in three events, first taking the 4×800 relay. Peyton Haack won the 110 hurdles and Dainon Wray was first in the 300 hurdles.
In the girls meet, the Shamrocks took fifth with 52 points. Sydney Spears was second in the long jump and the 4×100 relay finished as runner-up as well.
