Jennifer L. Kehl endorses Mitch Russell for Sheriff

Dear Editor:

I have personally known Mitch Russell for over 30 years. He is a loving father, grandfather and public servant. He is honest and dedicated to the county in which he lives.

He has served Hamilton County for 41 years in various capacities, beginning his career with Arcadia Police department in 1976 and retiring from the Sheriff’s Department in 2006 after 28 years of service to the sheriff’s office. Mitch became the Chief of Police in Arcadia, his home town, in 2006 after his retirement from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.

In Mitch’s current role in law enforcement he is the Manager of Security at Riverview Health in Noblesville.

Mitch served in several roles at the Sheriff’s Department which included shift Sargent of road patrol, Juvenile Crime Investigator, Lieutenant, Promoted to Head of Investigations, assigned detectives to the Metro Drug Task Force-Hamilton County Drug Task Force, Promoted to Captain, Director of Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and finished as a road Lieutenant.

Mitch has been a member of the Arcadia Town Council for 16 years and has spent many years coaching youth sports.

Mitch is committed to continue serving the citizens of Hamilton County whom he has been serving for the past 41 years. Please join me in supporting Mitch Russell for Hamilton County Sheriff in the upcoming election.
