Sheridan Rotarians were busy this past week. Some of us were taking care of important club business in the monthly club board meeting while the some of other the members were busy installing some shelving units in the Sheridan Public Library.
Rotarians throughout the world work with their local communities to accomplish a variety of tasks and projects to improve the quality of life. These projects can range from providing community meals to sweeping streets to cleaning parks and to putting up shelving for the library. Sheridan Rotarians have done all of these things and more over the years.
Sheridan Rotary aims to be an active club. We are involved in a variety of community service projects aimed at making Sheridan and the surrounding area a better place for all. We try to stay informed of the needs within our community and we are open to suggestions for helping others. If any individuals or organizations within the Sheridan community recognize any opportunities for our club to help out, please contact us. We are always looking for interesting projects to complete.
Sheridan Rotary meets formally on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Sheridan Public Library for a meal and an interesting guest speaker or program. The other Tuesdays are dedicated to various projects within the club or the community.
If you are interested in Rotary, please contact any Sheridan Rotary member or talk with club president Steve Martin at the Sheridan Public Library. We would love to have you attend a meeting and give us a chance to introduce you to community service in Sheridan.
The Sheridan Public Library is located at 103 West First Street in beautiful uptown Sheridan, just on the country side of Hamilton County, Indiana. Won’t you join us?
