Noblesville Main Street announces new Executive Director

The Noblesville Main Street executive committee and its board of directors is excited to announce the naming of Lorna Steele as the organization’s newest executive director. Lorna joins Noblesville Main Street after most recently serving as Assistant Recreation Director for the City of Noblesville Parks & Recreation department.

“This role is so important for our thriving downtown, and also our community,” said Jackie Bell, Vice President of the Noblesville Main Street Board of Directors. “Lorna is positioned to lead as we kick off our exciting season of events. Her passion for this community and this role, makes her a perfect match for the organization’s next growth chapter.”

Lorna is a 2013 Indiana University Bloomington graduate with a B.S. in Recreation, Park and Tourism Management. In her role with Noblesville Parks & Recreation she worked with the team to develop new programming events like Salsa for Salsa, The Adult Halloween Party, The Royal Ball and others. In addition to her hobbies, Lorna volunteers as a Young Life Leader in Noblesville.

When asked what Lorna was most excited about in this new role, she said, “I am most excited about getting to collaborate with everyone. I am so passionate about Noblesville and I can’t wait to meet and work with all of the fantastic people that make our historic downtown square great!”
