New roundabout coming to State Road 37, Strawtown Avenue

Beginning Monday, April 30, Beaty Construction Inc. will begin construction of a new roundabout at State Road 37 and Strawtown Avenue.

Restrictions are expected to last 90 days. Beaty will begin restricting SR 37 with traffic signals, allowing only one direction of traffic to pass over the SR 37 bridge (north of the intersection) at a single time. One signal will be on SR 37 just north of Madison Street (south of Strawtown Avenue) while the other will be north of the bridge on SR 37, between Strawtown Avenue and State Road 213.

During this restriction, Strawtown Avenue will be closed on both sides of SR 37.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Greenfield District of the Indiana Department of Transportation by phone at 855-463-6848, by email at eastcentralin@indot.in.gov, or follow their project page for the roundabout here.
