The Westfield Rotary Club has once again demonstrated its commitment to the children of Westfield by awarding $5,000 to Student Impact to purchase healthy snacks for its after-school programs.
This generous donation was revealed in a fun and interactive way during a special event. Rotary President Leane Hieber and GIS Technician Matt Harrison added excitement by tossing a Rotary figure with a blue-and-gold parachute into the air. As students eagerly caught the figure, the $5,000 check amount was unveiled, sparking cheers and celebration.
The Westfield Rotary Club continues to focus on making a difference in the lives of local children.
“We welcome anyone with a passion for helping children to join us,” Hieber said.
The Rotary’s primary fundraiser is the sale of its renowned bratwurst during the Cool Creek Park Concert Series, with proceeds supporting initiatives like this one.
