The Carmel girls tennis team took care of Center Grove 5-0 in a dual meet Friday at the Todd Witsekn Tennis Center.
The No. 1-ranked Greyhounds only dropped 12 games against the No. 5 Trojans, including a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles from Leila Antony. No. 1 singles Lauren Lemonds won her match 6-1, 6-0.

Hamilton Southeastern took a trip to Taylor University on Thursday and beat Fort Wayne Canterbury 5-0.
The No. 6-ranked Royals won four of the five matches in straight sets. Singles players Audrey De Witt, Ashley Spirrison and Tea Vrkic dropped only seven games among the three matches. In doubles, the No. 1 team of Jeorgia Templin and Taylor Cleary was victorious in straight sets, while No. 2 Nikki Hite and Jillian Pence needed three sets, but ran away with the match 6-1 in the third set.
Southeastern is now 2-1 for the season and hosts No. 8 North Central on Monday.

Huskies winners were Anna Carl and Abby Weber in singles and the doubles teams of Kylie Rose and Emma Knowles, and Emily Peterson and Kinsey Dimmock all won in straight sets.
“I have a lot of respect for both teams tonight for the way they competed in extremely windy conditions,” said Heights coach Cameron Scott. “In particular, I was excited to see Anna and Abby stay focused point in and point out, despite not being able to get the same kind of feel for their tennis as they might on a more normal night. They’ve been working hard on the mental part of their game, and tonight they passed a big test when it comes to that.”
