Hauntingly good holiday performance

Four former Phantoms of the Opera took over the Palladium Friday night, and the nearly full house could not have been happier with their selections from Broadway shows and some Christmas classics. One Phantom, Franc D’Ambrosio, stunned the crowd both with a rendition of “Ave Maria” that would have made Luciano Pavarotti proud, and with the theme from The Godfather. D’Ambrosio played the role of Michael Corleone’s opera-singing son, Anthony “Tony” Vito Corleone, in the third film.
