Grace Church and Grace Care Center announce a partnership with Market District and Coca-Cola Consolidated, who are stepping up in a big way this holiday season.
Together, they are providing 600 turkeys, hams, and cases of Coca-Cola products to help families in central Indiana celebrate the holidays with joy and dignity.
The donation arrives at a crucial time as Grace Care Center prepares for its busiest season yet.
“We’re seeing a record number of families seeking assistance this year,” Grace Care Center Foundation Executive Director Cara Augspurger said. “Right now, more than one in three people in Central Indiana are facing poverty or are just one unexpected emergency away from it. This partnership allows us to bring comfort and hope to families who need it most.”
Providing more than just a meal
The Care Center offers a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals, known as Friends, can choose their own groceries – ensuring families get what they need and preserving a sense of dignity and control.
A partnership making real impact
This year’s collaboration showcases the power of community partnership.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Market District, Coca-Cola, Kenny Moore of the Indianapolis Colts, and entire Colts organization for rallying around this cause,” Augspurger said. “Their support means that we can help more families than ever before, ensuring that no one has to face the holidays without the essentials.”
