Dear Editor:

During this presidential election year, we cannot lose sight of what matters in our own backyard.

I grew up in this city, attending Noblesville Schools for K-12. My husband Scott and I raised two daughters here, who are now young adults and teachers nearby. As a local business owner with my brother for decades, we run T&T Sales and Promotions, and we support our school system in multiple ways. I respect others who do the same in this community I love.

Christi Crosser, Stephanie Lambert, and Bret Richardson are the kind of people that show up for our schools. Not just for the Friday night games, but also for the performing arts, mentoring programs and more.

All three also serve on the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation. Richardson is the current president; Crosser was the original school board liaison who chose to continue serving even after her term ended; and Lambert is the current school board liaison. Their willingness to raise funds for our teachers’ and students’ projects shows their dedication even beyond the daily demands of serving on the school board.

Along with their commitment to our schools, you will see these three individuals supporting just about every charitable cause in this town. I see them attending and supporting events by Main Street, the Porch Music Festival, Riverview Foundation, Prevail and the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. These 3 candidates with their community involvement are well rounded individuals, who have the best interest of the community in mind without bringing in political agendas to the schools.

I fully support Crosser, Lambert and Richardson for Noblesville School Board.
