Dear Editor:

Voting is a deadly serious activity.

Having lived in the Chicago area and watched the Windy City blow it, I recall one reason why.

A neighbor explained why he didn’t vote. “Things are bad,” he said.

I said, “They are because clowns like you don’t vote.”

I think I lost a friend but you get the point.
