LaVerne Muriel Houser, 94, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home. She was born on May 18, 1923 to Lee Roy Brissey and Goldie Muriel (Sherratt) Brissey in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
LaVerne was a homemaker and a member of Noblesville First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School and was active in various church missionary activities and programs.
She is survived by her children, Diana Hamlyn, Patricia Sue Tillman, Michael Lee (Cindy) Houser and Beth Jo (Steve) Ricks; 28 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Houser, in 1996.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service. Rev. Robert L. Donham will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville.
