Kiwanis Club of Cicero holding membership drive

New member open house set for Saturday, Oct. 26

The Kiwanis Club of Cicero announces a community-wide membership drive throughout the month of October. This campaign aims to attract new members who are passionate about serving the community and making a positive difference.

The drive will culminate in a special New Member Open House on Saturday, Oct. 26, providing prospective members with the opportunity to meet current members, learn more about Kiwanis and its impact, and discover how they can get involved in local projects and initiatives. The open house will be held at Red Bridge Community Building from 7:30 to 9 a.m. with breakfast being served at from 7:30 to 8 a.m.

“We’re looking for individuals who share our commitment to improving the lives of children and building a stronger community,” Club President Mark Bailey said. “This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in giving back and joining a network of like-minded volunteers.”

Founded in 1977, the Kiwanis Club of Cicero is part of Kiwanis International, a global service organization dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. The local club organizes a variety of service projects, fundraising events, and initiatives that benefit Cicero and surrounding areas.
