Fishers dropped a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game at Franklin Central Friday 22-13.
The Flashes led 9-0 after the first quarter after making a safety and scoring on a one-yard touchdown run. JonAnthony Hall got the Tigers on the board in the second period with a six-yard run. Jon Tangara made the extra-point kick and Fishers was within 9-7 at halftime.
Franklin Central went ahead 12-7 after a field goal, but the Tigers took the lead late in the third after Hall caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Caden Hill. Fishers went into the fourth quarter leading 13-12, but the Flashes regained the lead with another field goal, then a late five-yard touchdown run sealed the game.
Hill finished the game 13-of-28 for 167 yards. Hall made five catches and Denkota Fletcher had four receptions. Owen Folta and Josh Wilkins each got nine tackles, with Wilkins and Tyler Maynard both making one sack.
Fishers is 3-2 in conference play and 4-3 overall. The Tigers are back home next week and play Westfield.
