Girls soccer: Royals win on Senior Night, Millers wrap regular season with conference win, Heights falls to Pendleton, Westfield beats Avon

The Hamilton Southeastern girls soccer team finished the regular season Wednesday with a 2-0 Senior Night win over Mount Vernon.

Sydney May scored both goals for the Class 3A No. 1 Royals getting one goal in each half. Sloane May assisted the first-half goal, while Kate Noel made the assist in the second half.

Southeastern improved to 13-0-3 with the win. The Royals travel to Sectional 8 at Noblesville on Wednesday to play Fishers in a first-round game.

Noblesville completed the regular season Wednesday with a 6-1 Hoosier Crossroads Conference win over Franklin Central at Hallmark Orthodontics Soccer Complex.

Six different players scored goals for the 3A No. 2 Millers: Katelyn Keenan, Delaney Stone, Atley Pittman, Caylee Cunningham, Meredith Tippner and Diem Bromley. Sadie Black and Tippner both made one assist.

Noblesville clinched the HCC championship with the victory, finishing 5-0-2 in conference play. The Millers are 12-0-2 overall and play Anderson Tuesday in a first-round Sectional 8 game.

Hamilton Heights team fell to Pendleton Heights 3-1 in a Wednesday road game to complete the regular season.

Sarah Toll scored the 2A No. 16 Huskies’ goal. Audrey Lang had 14 saves.

Heights is 11-3-3 and plays Sectional 26 host Brebeuf Jesuit on Tuesday in a first-round game.

Westfield beat Avon 5-0 in a Wednesday home game that finished the 3A No. 5 Shamrocks’ HCC and regular seasons.

Westfield completed HCC play at 4-2-1. The Rocks are 10-4-2 overall and play Sectional 9 host Zionsville Wednesday in the first round.
