Cuisine Connect Culture returns to Grand Junction Plaza

Experience Autumn IN Westfield at Cuisine Connect Culture from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at Grand Junction Plaza, 225 S. Union St.

Explore diverse arts, entertainment, and traditions from all over the world in one place. Sample diverse cuisines, create crafts, and play games from other cultures. New this year is a fire dancing performance from Aloha Chicago.

The traditional Chinese Lion dance, performed by Indianapolis Chinese Community Center (ICCCI), will kick off the event at 12:05 p.m. Meet and greet with Moana near the cafe pavilion until 2 p.m. and interact with the mimes throughout the event.

Returning to the event is the popular Cuisine Connect Culture passport. Attendees are invited to pick up a passport from the Westfield Welcome tent and visit stations located throughout the event to collect stamps. Once all stamps have been collected, attendees can return their completed passports to the Westfield Welcome tent and receive a special reward.

Free shuttle & parking

Due to the popularity of this event, a free shuttle service will operate from noon to 3 p.m. The shuttle will pick up and drop off attendees at Westfield Intermediate School, 17710 Shamrock Blvd., and Grand Junction Plaza, 225 S. Union St.

Public parking for the event is also available in the parking lot near Poplar Street and Park Street and in designated on-street spots along Union Street and Mill Street.
