Dear Editor:

Cicero Friends of the Park’s 33rd annual Red Bridge Car Show set a record year for entries (280 cars) and spectators this year.

Cicero Friends of the Park and Hamilton North Friends of the Library appreciate all of the people who made this event such a success. Both organizations set a new record for profits, and 100 percent of this money goes back into our community.

First of all, we would like to thank Rob, Christy, and Shelby Wilson for the hundreds of hours they put into this event. They have been in charge of this event for several years and are instrumental in making this event bigger and better every year. We would also like to thank our dozens of volunteers who donate their time on this holiday year after year. We would like to thank the Hamilton County Reporter for the great coverage and thank the residents of Cicero and the surrounding communities for their support, and making this year such a success.

We would also like to thank Jim Hunter, Park Superintendent, and the Parks Department.

We are already working to make improvements to public parking next year.

We would again like to thank everyone for their help and support.

Jackie Hayden
President, Cicero Friends of the Park
