Blackhawks leading North Miami

Sheridan traveled to North Miami on Friday for the first half of a football game, but went home at halftime after the game was postponed due to lightning.

The Blackhawks led North Miami 14-7 at the break. Owen Bell scored early in the first quarter on a four-yard touchdown run. The Warriors tied the game midway through the quarter on a 68-yard touchdown pass.

Sheridan regained the lead in the second quarter. The Hawks recovered a fumble on their two-yard line. A few plays later, Jaylen Arnold blasted off for a 47-yard touchdown run.

The game will resume at 3 p.m. today.
