The City of Noblesville will officially open the city’s bike share program with its two Zagster stations at 2 p.m. today, Friday, March 23, at the Riverview Bike Share Station at Maple Avenue and South 5th Street, near the Hamilton County employee parking lot off Conner Street.
The two Zagster bike stations are at Riverwalk and in Forest Park. The areas were selected in downtown Noblesville to allow residents to enjoy the city’s expansive trail system and take advantage of the natural assets of our parks and the White River. A third bike station will open in May at the Midland Trace Trailhead on Hazel Dell Parkway.
A bike share is a program in which a community or organization shares bicycles to provide a means for an inexpensive and environmentally friendly way of transportation. Bike riders can ride bikes from one station location to another, or they can be returned to the station in which they were rented from. Bikes come with a lock to secure the bike to various infrastructures during the rented time.
