Betty Irene Lunsford, 87, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Riverwalk Village. She was born on October 1, 1930 to Oscar and Ida (Walker) Lunsford in Noblesville. Irene was born and raised on Evans Avenue and never left.
She was a graduate of Noblesville High School, Indiana Central College, and Butler University. Irene taught elementary school for Noblesville Schools and Indianapolis Public Schools, and was also employed by Noblesville Southeastern Public Library. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church where she served as church organist and pianist. Irene followed the teachings of Jesus and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Survivors include several cousins.
There will be no calling or services. Irene was interred at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. Arrangements were entrusted to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville.
